CSV text is garbled in Excel

If “BOM” in the CSV format is set to “Don’t add”, the text may be garbled in Excel.

Change the CSV format

There is one CSV format for the whole organization, and only Admins can change it.

1. Press the organization name at the top of the left menu, and press “Settings”.
2. Press “CSV export”.
3. Set “BOM” to “Add”, or set “Character encoding” to “Shift_JIS”, and press “Save”.
4. Download the CSV again.

With Shift_JIS, characters that are not in Shift_JIS are replaced with “?” (Export format).

Download as Excel

If you need an Excel file, press “Download as Excel” from the download button at the top right of the sheet (View reading results).
